Many people have health insurance needs for many different reasons. Health insurance is important and there are so many people out there suffering because they cannot afford to pay for health insurance to take care of their immediate medical needs.
One of the major health insurance needs for people relates to prescriptions. Most people cannot afford the cost of a prescription without health insurance and many people will neglect their health often times resulting in death because they cannot afford health insurance. Some people take trips across the border of Mexico to buy their prescriptions. Certainly, this is the only option if you need a prescription and you need medication. However, not everyone lives by the border of Mexico or have family that can get them the medication.
Health insurance needs that people often neglect are proper dental care. Many people have rotten teeth or cavities that need to be fixed. Many people cannot eat healthy any longer because they have lost all of their teeth or they have a problem in their mouth which makes it too painful to eat. Dentists don’t have to see anyone who doesn’t have cash or health insurance, so most of the time people neglect their teeth for basic medical care.
Medical care is one of the biggest health insurance needs that is neglected. This is not something that people want to do. It is not the desire of an individual to neglect their heart surgery and die because they cannot afford health insurance. They don’t choose to ignore their cancer. In general, people don’t want to die. The United States has made the medical industry a money making industry. Unlike countries like France, the Netherlands, Canada, and everyone else that believes in free healthcare, dental, and vision for all of their citizens, the United States makes their citizens pay. This results, in poor health for most American families.
Health insurance needs are often neglected by many people for health, prescription, and dental needs because they cannot afford to pay for insurance. Unlike most of the countries around the world, the United States has made the medical industry a profit making industry.
